WCAG 2.2
AA coverage
Most accessibility tools only flag the issues.
Lumi takes you all the way to fixed. Every finding becomes assignable, trackable work, with the evidence and the code to resolve it. One platform, whether we audit for you or you scan it yourself.
One backlog your whole team works from
Every issue becomes a ticket your team can assign, comment on, and resolve, broken down to each failing element. The screenshot and the exact code sit right beside it, so designers and developers always know what to fix.
Every finding comes with the proof to fix it
The exact failing element, why it fails, its WCAG criterion, and a before-and-after fix example, with screenshots and a comment thread right below. Your team sees precisely what is wrong, where, and how to fix it.
Generate the fix, not just the finding
For any failing element, Lumi suggests a before-and-after code fix you can review and ship. Less time diagnosing, more time resolving.
A browser extension that reaches pages your crawler cannot
The Lumi extension runs the full five-engine scanner in your browser session and sends findings straight to your ticket backlog. It reaches the parts that matter most: dashboards, checkout flows, and account pages behind authentication. Your credentials never leave the browser.
Connect Lumi to your CI/CD, Jira, and Slack
Gate deploys on accessibility with a GitHub Action, push tickets to Jira with one click, and get Slack alerts on regressions. One API key connects everything.
Everything your team needs to ship fixes
Five-engine scanner
Our engine runs axe, HTML_CodeSniffer and 64 custom checks that catch what other tools miss, deduped, filtered and scored.
Live progress dashboard
See the percentage of issues remediated, with a severity breakdown and a status report you can download and share.
Assign, comment, @mention
A real workflow: owners, status, activity history, in-app and email notifications.
WCAG 2.2 + reports
Conformance-aligned findings and an accessibility statement your stakeholders can stand behind, from a Livana managed audit.
Built for agencies
Manage every client site from one place: white-label reports, per-client backlogs, and proof-of-fix to show clients exactly what changed.
How it works
Both routes run on Lumi, the accessibility platform.
Manual audit
- 1 Our specialists audit your site manually against WCAG 2.2.
- 2 Every finding lands in your Lumi dashboard as assignable tickets, with screenshots.
- 3 Your team fixes and tracks progress on the remediation dashboard.
- 4 We re-audit and issue an accessibility statement once your site conforms to the WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
Self-serve scanning
- 1 Add a site and run a scan, on public pages or behind a login with the extension.
- 2 Findings become a durable ticket backlog with AI fixes and template guidance.
- 3 Assign and resolve; your accessibility score climbs as you ship fixes.
- 4 Re-scan any time: issues you have already fixed stay closed, and if one ever comes back, Lumi reopens its ticket automatically.
Prefer it done for you end to end? We also take on a limited number of in-house managed remediations. Get in touch to discuss.
30-40%
caught by scanners
Scanning alone isn’t compliance.
That’s roughly all an automated tool can detect. The rest needs a human: keyboard traps, focus order, meaningful alt text, and real context. A manual audit is the only way to verify full WCAG 2.2 compliance, and your first consultation is free.
Full WCAG 2.2 manual testing
For full compliance, a scan isn’t enough. A comprehensive Livana audit manually checks your site against every WCAG 2.2 criterion and gives your stakeholders, legal team, and regulators the evidence they need.
Being compliant is also key to winning business. More and more large clients and public bodies ask for proof of compliance before they sign a contract, so without it you can lose deals you would otherwise win.
VPAT & accessibility statements
Conformance documentation your procurement, legal, and compliance teams can stand behind.
Manual audit by specialists
Keyboard, focus order, screen-reader and real-context checks no scanner can verify, against WCAG 2.2 AA.
A complete audit trail
Every finding, fix, and re-audit recorded in Lumi, so you can keep a record of conformance over time.
Procurement-ready reports
Downloadable status reports for stakeholders, regulators, and tender responses.
Questions
Can I use Lumi for a manual audit or self-serve scanning? +
Either. Livana can run a manual audit and deliver the findings into Lumi as a managed backlog, or you can scan your own site on a self-serve plan.
Can it scan pages behind a login? +
Yes. The Lumi browser extension runs the full engine in your authenticated session and sends results into your backlog. Your credentials never leave your browser.
How is this different from a free scanner? +
Free scanners give you a list. Lumi gives you a managed remediation workflow: assignable tickets, per-element evidence, AI fixes, progress tracking, and fewer false positives from five engines instead of one.
Do you use an accessibility overlay or widget? +
No, and we never will. Overlays bolt a script onto your site, leave the underlying code broken, and have become a common trigger for lawsuits rather than a defence. Lumi finds the real issues in your markup and gives your team the code to fix them properly.
Which standard does it check against? +
WCAG 2.2 to Level AA, the standard behind the European Accessibility Act, ADA compliance expectations, and most public-sector procurement requirements.
How much does Lumi cost? +
Self-serve plans run from £29/month (Solo, one site) through Pro to £129/month (Agency, up to 25 sites), plus a free tier to try it out. See full plans and limits. Managed audits are scoped per project and priced separately.
Does it integrate with our existing tools? +
Yes. Lumi has a CI/CD API with a ready-made GitHub Action for PR checks, one-click push to Jira, Slack alerts, webhooks, and a REST API. Everything connects with a single API key.
How does Lumi compare to axe, WAVE, or Lighthouse? +
Those tools run a single engine and give you a report. Lumi runs five engines (including axe) plus 64 custom checks that catch what other tools miss, deduplicates and filters the results, and turns them into a durable ticket backlog with AI fixes and team workflow. It finds more real issues with fewer false positives.
Is there a deadline I should know about? +
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) requires digital products and services sold in the EU to meet accessibility standards. Enforcement is active. In the US, ADA lawsuits are rising sharply. Starting now gives your team time to fix issues before they become legal risk.
Can my whole team use it? +
Yes. Lumi supports team collaboration with roles (owner, admin, viewer), assignment, @mentions, and email notifications. The Pro plan includes 3 seats and the Agency plan includes 10. For larger teams or enterprise needs, talk to us.
Can I manage multiple client sites? +
Yes. The Agency plan covers 25 sites with white-label reports and per-client remediation backlogs, so you can run accessibility across your whole client base and show each client exactly what was fixed.
What happens when I re-scan? +
Fixed issues stay resolved. New issues open as fresh tickets. Regressions (issues you fixed that came back) reopen automatically and notify the assignee. Your backlog is always current without losing any history.
