These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Livana Group Ltd website (livana.io) and our accessibility services. By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
2. Services
2.1 Services Provided
Livana Group Ltd provides web accessibility services and software, including:
- Accessibility audits and compliance assessments (consultancy)
- Accessibility consulting
- Lumi — a subscription web accessibility scanner for businesses, available at lumi.livana.io
- LumiLens — a subscription personalised accessibility report tool for individual users of assistive technology, available at lumilens.io
- Educational content through our blog and resources
2.2 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of our services.
2.3 Service Agreements
Specific terms for professional services (audits, consultancy) will be outlined in separate service agreements. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a service agreement, the service agreement shall prevail.
2.4 Lumi Scanner Subscription Terms
Lumi (lumi.livana.io) is a Software-as-a-Service product for businesses. Use of Lumi is subject to the following additional terms:
- Plans and pricing: Solo £29/month, Pro £59/month, Agency £129/month. Enterprise pricing is custom. All amounts are in GBP and exclusive of any applicable taxes.
- Billing cycle: Monthly recurring subscription. Charges are billed in advance on the same day of each calendar month following the start of your subscription.
- Free trial: First-time paying customers receive a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is captured at signup but is not charged until the trial ends. Trials end automatically after 14 days and the subscription begins; you may cancel any time during the trial without charge.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer billing portal from your Lumi account settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately; your account is downgraded to the free tier.
- Refunds: We offer pro-rata refunds on the unused portion of a subscription period at our discretion. To request a refund, contact hello@livana.io within 14 days of the charge.
- Plan limits: Each plan includes specified usage limits (sites, scans, AI fix suggestions, team members). Exceeding limits requires upgrading to a higher plan; we do not bill overages automatically.
- Acceptable use: You must own the websites you scan or have explicit authorisation from the owner. Scanning is rate-limited and subject to abuse controls. You agree not to use Lumi to scan sites you do not have permission to access.
2.5 LumiLens Subscription Terms
LumiLens (lumilens.io) is a Software-as-a-Service product for individual consumers who use assistive technology. Use of LumiLens is subject to the following additional terms:
- Plans and pricing: Free tier (12 reports/month), Personal £3.99/month (30 reports/month), Plus £7.99/month (300 reports/month). All amounts are in GBP. EU consumer pricing may be VAT-inclusive where applicable.
- Billing cycle: Monthly recurring subscription. No free trial on Personal or Plus tiers.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer billing portal from your LumiLens account settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately; your account is downgraded to the free tier.
- Refunds: Under UK consumer law, you have 14 days from the date of subscription to cancel for a full refund, unless you began using the service during that period and waived your right to cancel. After the 14-day cooling-off period, refunds are at our discretion. To request a refund, contact hello@livana.io.
- Plan limits: Each plan includes a monthly report quota. Quota resets on the same day of each calendar month.
- Accuracy: Personalised accessibility reports are generated automatically based on the page you ask us to assess and your stated assistive-technology preferences. They are guidance rather than a guarantee that a site will work for you. We do not warrant the accuracy of any individual report.
2.6 Payments and Processing
Subscription payments for Lumi and LumiLens are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We do not store or process card details on our own infrastructure; only Stripe-issued customer and subscription identifiers, together with the last four digits of your card for display purposes, are retained. Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to the processing of payment details: see stripe.com/legal/consumer.
If a payment fails (declined card, expired card, insufficient funds), Stripe will automatically retry the charge over several days. You will receive an email notification at the email address on your account. If payment cannot be collected after retries, your subscription will be cancelled and your account downgraded to the free tier.
3. Use of Website
3.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:
- Infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the website
- Damage, disable, or impair the operation of the website
- Use any automated system (bots, scripts, scrapers) without our written permission
- Transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malicious software
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website
- Collect or harvest any information about other users
3.2 Account Security
If we provide you with account credentials for any service, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activities that occur under your account.

All content on this website - including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and design - is the property of Livana Group Ltd or our licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that Livana Group Ltd shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party content or services.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
6.1 Website "As Is"
Our website and content are provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
6.2 Professional Services
While we strive to provide accurate and high-quality accessibility services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. Accessibility compliance is complex and may depend on factors outside our control.
6.3 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Livana Group Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:
- Your use or inability to use our website or services
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our website
- Any bugs, viruses, or similar that may be transmitted by third parties
- Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of use of any content
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Livana Group Ltd regarding your use of our website and services.
